Gone till December

It just hit me this week and we now have 4 days left till our daughter Madeline's birth! With weekend events to photograph and mix, lots of final touches to the house, early Thanksgiving dinner (yay!), and scheduled c-section with hospital recovery in the coming week I wanted to put a notice out early to let everybody know I might be →

Thankful Tuesday

Today I'm thankful for a morning spent with my son Adrian while Momma Sara and Baby Bu had a checkup. Thankful that he let me wear his froggy hat to cover my bed head hair too. :D It doesn't have to be the 4th Thursday of November to be thankful. What things are you thankful for today?

First Christmas

If you keep an eye on my FaceBook page, the biz FaceBook page or our business' Myspace page you've already seen these favorite photos from Christmas Day. (Feel free to add us!) Here's a handful of favorites from our family's first Christmas with Adrian. He loved playing with the boxes and paper more than most of the things that were inside →

Congrats Christmas Couple Katie & Nathan

Happy 2nd Anniversary! What an awesome first Christmas these two celebrated back in 2006, the same year as my first newlywed Christmas. This year as it's single-digit temperatures we're looking back on the nearly 50-degree wedding day we shared with Katie and Nathan to think warm thoughts as Christmas nears. (Is global warming on vacation or what?!) Click the photo above of →

Thanks and Giving

A few quick favorites from today's festivities. Adrian's 1st Thanksgiving. Adrian and Aunt Aliya ready to dig in! Adrian finds dessert... mess ahead!

Fight for Kisses

LuSBCIV1zuQ FIGHT FOR KISSES - if my son Adrian and I were "fighting for kisses" he'd be winning by a long shot - I hate shaving. But he does have really soft skin and for the first couple of weeks home I felt like he was making faces at me for getting (almost) all Sara's attention. Today I played Mr. Mom →

snowed in to start the year

"and since we've no place to go... let it snow (new year's eve), let it snow (new year's morning), let it snow... (all day new year's day)" T8wvWJ3Jhgo OK ENOUGH ALREADY! Being stuck inside wasn't all bad. Waffles started the day while we watched the Rose Bowl parade. I got some office stuff caught up and year-end paperwork started. We got a lot of housework done. →

Coming soon! Baby Bu!

Besides celebrating the best holiday in the world this past week we hit another mile marker reminding us just how soon our Baby Bu arrives - less than a month to go! The day after Christmas marked the start of our final month of pregnancy. Sara's been doing great, looking incredible, and is counting down the 3 1/2 weeks till we →

awe of Christmas

Especially since the first Christmas season I worked in retail in 2003 I've been feeling the Christmas holiday crazies. Rushing around in a hurry (even when I work mostly from home between shoots), a growing to-do list, family stuff coming up... you know the feeling. Sometimes it all hits you at once and you just wish it was next year →
