Perfectly fitting snow day post. (Reports of nearly 2-3 feet of drifting snow in the last 24 hours here in South Bend!)
Just before Christmas Katie and Lawrence caught up with me for a sunny and snowy winter engagement session. Turns out the date was the 1-year anniversary of their engagement! In addition to the celebration it was also a perfectly mild winter afternoon to head out to some trails for great photos and good laughs along the way.
Congrats Soonlyweds! We’re loolking forward to your autumn celebration ahead!
See more of the session in our proof gallery, facebook, and engagements page. Enjoy!
I think one of the things I like best about my work telling engagement and wedding stories through photography is getting to see so many friends happy.
Diana, Roger and I met up at the Beutter Park river walks in Mishawaka for a sunny evening of photos. It’s a favorite stop for wedding parties, senior portraits, and other portraits but I was especially glad to hear the park would be more than just a pretty location for them – it is where they met last summer. How great to be able to tell their engagement story right where they met!
We’re looking forward to celebrating their wedding day soon! Congrats!
It’s amazing to see the youngest students of my 2002-2003 drama class now getting ready for graduation day. I was proud of them back then for all the hard work they put into our (elective) class, and I am even more proud as they get ready to celebrate all their hard work throughout high school. The most recent of our students to join us for a Senior Session was Miriam.
What started as a rainy few days turned out to be a vivid, sunny afternoon at the Japanese Gardens. Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot – enjoy!
