Febtober Furter Durmp

Later February 2026

Or The only month that begins with "Feb"

Time is immaterial up in this timepiece. Blogging this way forces the pause, the escape from the immediate, the gap from the notifications. It seems easiest to update on weekends away from the workday hustle. The temptation to automate and to templatize is real, as are reminders that those options are literally /everywhere/ and unremarkable to the pace I seek.

Melting, freezing, sunlight, repeating.

Posted just after all the world felt like Spring for a week, we drove with car windows down, green ground and mud appeared and snow vanished in the sunlight, rain, and fog. We all knew this is only Februray, a "Fool's Spring" visitation, and we welcomed it before waking today to below freezing temperatures and forecasts of snow again. This isn't new, yet we hope the warm witll remain, knowing it will show up and stay a while longer soon enough.

Stay hopeful!
